Contribution

This application will allow University church of Christ's members to give their contribution online. The contribution amount that is submitted in the PayPal application will be directly submitted to the University church of Christ's bank account through the PayPal payment platform.

Contributions by cash, check or using your bank’s “bill pay” option can be mailed to the following address:

Contribute online through PayPal:
Contributions online can now be taken through PayPal.  To use this feature, you must have or create a PayPal account.

• If you already have a PayPal account, you can connect to the University Church of Christ account by:
  • Clicking this link directly: www.paypal.me/UniversityCOC
• To create a PayPal account, you can:
  • Go online to www.paypal.com and select “Sign Up”
    • For desktop users, “Sign Up” is in the top, right corner
    • For mobile users, select “Menu” on the top, left corner, and then “Sign Up for Free” at the bottom of the menu
  • Download the PayPal app to your smartphone.  Once downloaded, you can open the app and select “Sign Up” on the bottom right of the page.
• To use PayPal, you will have to complete the sign-up process and link a bank account or payment card to your PayPal account.
• The process of linking a bank account to your PayPal may take a few days depending on which option you use and your bank/credit union.

NOTE: PayPal charges fees for certain transactions.  Please read the section below to understand how best to avoid fees to either you or the church.  We would encourage you to not only avoid fees, but also to be diligent to not incur any financial hardship that may occur from the use of credit cards.

• Transfer using cash in your PayPal account: Free of charge to both you and the church. 
• Transfer from your checking account: Free of charge to both you and the church if you uncheck the “Paying for goods or a service” box or choose “Sending to friends and family” as seen below.  If you do not change this setting, the church will pay a 2.9% + $.30 transaction fee for each transfer that could be free.

Fee, paid by church: No fee: Transfer from a debit or credit card:  There is a fee of 2.9% + $.30 per transaction for debit and credit card use.  To pay the fee yourself (added on to your contribution), uncheck the “Paying for goods or a service” box in the app as seen below.       Fee, added to your contribution:
